WORLD CUP
The CITY DOMINATION World Cup is an every year repeating online tournament for all qualified gangsters to identify the best. Players who made it to the Top 80 in the qualification event will automatically take part in the World Cup. After an intensive group phase, where each player fights against everyone in his group in 9 group matches, the bests of each group have to prove themselves in the knockout phase.
Please pay attention to the news for qualification on Facebook as well as ingame news from El Fredo and Al Capone. In addition, players who qualified for the World Cup will receive private messages to get in touch with the match pairings.

The best players who have reached rank 1-80 in the qualification event are divided randomly into 8 groups (A-H). In the groups, each player competes against each group member in 1 vs. 1 once. Therefore, there will be 9 match days. A match day lasts 24 hours. The winner is the player who earns the most player points. The results decide how many tournament points a player will gain in the table.

Draw - 1 point
Lose - 0 points
After the group phase, the 2 group bests will reach the knockout phase - the round of 16. During the complete knockout phase, the player who gained the most points within 24 hours will win. If there's a draw, the player who gained the most points during the whole tournament will join the next round.
After the winners of the round of 16 reach the quarter-finals, the 2 best players in the semi-finals will entry the finals. The other 2 player will be in the play-offs for third place.
The rewards in a total value of 300,000 gold bars will be distributed after the tournament as follows:
Rank 9-16: 2,500 gold
Rank 5-8: 4,375 gold
Rank 4: 25,000 gold
Rank 3: 50,000 gold
Rank 2: 75,000 gold
Rank 1: 100,000 gold
