As we go further in the game, I think one great addition would be to give new players a way to look up or select a gang when they first sign up. This would make real life recruiting a little easier. The current process is a little clumsy because people have to create a gang, even if they want to join one. But by giving them a chance to join an existing gang, they can skip that step. Maybe they're just a "friend" of the gang until a chief/deputy approves them? And if they are denied, they are required to make a gang at that point.
